I am a natural and urban landscape artist from America working with acrylic on canvas. I use the acrylics in an unconventional way. Applications of watered down paint (washes) build up the areas of color and value. This results in a realistic image with a watercolor-like quality. I like to offer the viewer a quiet solitude by an absence of the human figure in places they may normally be seen. I continue to live in central Wisconsin and find inspiration from my travels around the United States and the rest of the world.
